About Dr. Goodrich
Education and Training
Dr. Goodrich graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors from UCLA , majoring in Physiological Sciences with a minor in Spanish.
She earned her medical degree from UC Irvine, where she also completed her Psychiatry residency training and served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Goodrich has received additional training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy through the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.

A significant portion of Dr. Goodrich’s practice includes working with early adulthood transitions and student mental health, whether in high school, college or graduate school
Integrating pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy
Viewing medication and therapy as complementary elements of a holistic and individualized treatment plan, Dr. Goodrich offers combined medication management + therapy appointments. Many of her patients have a therapist already, in which case she takes a collaborative approach, working in close communication with a patient's therapist and/or other care providers. Dr. Goodrich is also happy to provide referrals and has a trusted network of therapists she works closely with, if/when patients are looking for an outside therapist.
